BestLine Racing’s Nano Diamond Technology Overview

Nano Diamond

BestLine Racing’s Nano Diamond Technology is a unique nanodiamond additive in our Engine Treatment and Fuel Conditioners that produces the maximum benefit in reducing friction and wear on heavily loaded metallic surfaces in sliding contact. BestLine Fuel Conditioner improves the life of injectors and all other fuel system components.

Nano Diamond (ND) microparticles have no melting point. The particles are so small, they measure only 4 - 6 nanometers.

These small, but mighty, particles adhere to metal surfaces and carry lubricant into pores and tiny crevices by penetrating microscopic substrates and voids within the metal.

Filling these voids in the metal creates a smoother surface. More importantly, ND particles act like tiny ball bearings under very high dynamic loads.

This “filling of voids” in metal surfaces, with its spherical diamond structure, reduces or eliminates scarring of the metal surfaces. BestLine Racing’s ND additive, by virtue of its size and form, converts sliding friction to rolling friction, reducing friction coefficient, and the heat and wear generated by friction.

Nano Diamond infused lubricants have very high thermal conductivity. This helps transfer heat away from the metal surface it’s in contact with, drawing the heat into the bulk fluid and ultimately reducing temperature at the contact points which prolongs lubricant life.

The benefits of this surface smoothing ND technology is a reduction of surface roughness, and the displacement of dirt debris and corrosion-causing moisture.

BestLine Racing’s Nano Diamond technology provides these additional benefits in any application it’s applied to:

  • Reduced friction
  • Cleaner metal surfaces
  • Cooler running applications
  • Fills in microscopic pores

  • Superb creeping action
  • Lubricates at the molecular level
  • Increased heat transfer capabilities
  • Excellent electrical insulator
